Learning begins when a question finds company.
Most learning platforms begin with a catalogue: institutions publish courses, learners select one, and progress is measured by consumption. Learning Web 2.0 begins elsewhere—with a question someone cannot pursue alone. Its name revisits Ivan Illich's idea of learning webs for a networked, AI-mediated age.
The prototype asks how a network could help that question attract the right objects, skills, peers, mentors, places, and practical tasks. AI helps with orientation, while learning remains relational and grounded in work that leaves evidence.

The Learning Thread
The basic unit is neither a course nor a profile. It is a living inquiry that gathers relationships and changes as the learner acts.

A useful connection explains why this person, place, or object matters to this thread.

Progress means observing, making, testing, interviewing, or teaching—not merely finishing content.
Evidence before credential
Keep the artifact, witness, feedback, and reflection visible before compressing learning into a badge.

The project is currently a conceptual and interface prototype. Its next test is whether one real Learning Thread can help a small group move from shared curiosity to situated practice and checkable evidence.
